Glamis Swag FAQ
How long does shipping take and what does it cost?
Shipping cost and a delivery estimate are confirmed with you before you pay. Until online checkout is live, you send an order request and we'll confirm availability, shipping and your total before anything is charged. Heading out for a holiday weekend? Order early. The weeks before Halloween and Thanksgiving are the busiest of the season.
Do you ship to Arizona, Nevada and other states?
Send an order request with your shipping state and we'll confirm shipping to your address and your total before anything is charged. If you're outside the US, ask through the contact form first.
How do your shirts and hoodies fit?
Our tees and hoodies come in S to 2XL. Not sure which size? Ask through the contact form before you order and we'll help. If you're between sizes and want room for a layer underneath on a cold night, size up.
Will your decals and stickers survive the sun, heat and sand?
The desert is hard on anything stuck to a vehicle: strong sun, heat and blowing sand. We won't promise a number of years we can't back up. What you can control:
- Put them on a clean, smooth, non-textured surface.
- Avoid spots that take direct sand blast, like the leading edges right behind the tires.
- Keep pressure-washer spray off the edges.
How do I apply a decal so it lasts, and how do I take it off?
Apply in the shade, on a surface that's clean, dry and not hot to the touch. Clean with rubbing alcohol first and let it dry. Peel the backing slowly, lay the decal down from one edge and squeegee out toward the edges with a card to push out the air. Then peel the top transfer tape back flat against itself, slowly. Give it time to set before you ride or wash it.
To take a decal off, warm it with a hair dryer on low until it softens, lift a corner and peel slowly at a low angle. Clean off any leftover adhesive with an adhesive remover safe for your surface, and test it on a hidden spot first.
How should I wash my tee or hoodie?
Wash inside out in cold water and tumble dry low or hang dry. That's the standard way to take care of a printed graphic. Skip bleach and don't iron directly on the print. Shake the sand out first, because the washer won't. Always follow the care label on the garment.
What is your return and exchange policy?
Questions about an order or a return? Use the contact form with your order details and we'll sort it out.
What is a whip flag and what does the BLM require at Glamis?
A whip flag is a flag mounted on a tall, flexible mast (the "whip") so other riders can see you coming over a dune before they see your vehicle. At the Imperial Sand Dunes, the BLM requires all vehicles to have a whip mast that reaches 8 feet from the ground to the tip, with a 6x12 inch red or orange safety flag attached within 10 inches of the tip. Club or other flags go below the safety flag or on a separate whip. Our whip flag is a club/style flag meant to fly below the required safety flag, and they're sold flag only. The rules can change, so check the BLM's Imperial Sand Dunes rules page before every trip.
Do you sell whip flags with the whip?
No. The Glamis Swag whip flag is sold flag only (12 x 18 in). Fly it on your existing whip, below the red or orange safety flag the BLM requires.
