At the dunes, a flag is part of the uniform. Here's the rule first. The BLM requires every vehicle at the Imperial Sand Dunes to run a whip mast reaching 8 feet from the ground, with a 6x12 inch red or orange safety flag within 10 inches of the tip. Club and style flags go below it or on another whip. Our whip flag is one of those club flags: your colors, your crew, flying under the safety flag where the rule says they belong. 12 x 18 in, flag only: whip and mast not included.
